Description

The major purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between conduct disorder symptoms and substance use disorder symptoms among adolescents (ages 12-18) and, specifically, how this relationship might be accounted for by difficulties with emotional reactivity and regulation. Using a cross-sectional design we are testing whether physiologic and behavioral indices of deficient emotional reactivity and regulation account for the relationship between conduct symptoms and drug problems.
