Description
The primary goal of this laboratory study is to investigate variability in marijuana’s acute and cue-elicited effects associated with cannabinoid-related genetic variation (in the CNR1 and FAAH) genes. The objective of this research is to identify genetic variation underlying individual differences in marijuana effects that may account for individual differences in susceptibility to marijuana dependence. We are recruiting marijuana users between the ages of 18 to 44 from greater Providence area. Potential participants are screened on the phone, then in a brief genetic screening visit, which determines their eligibility for the study (3 sessions).
