Description
This study will be examining the efficacy of a sibling enhanced intervention using the Family Check Up (Dishion & Kavanaugh, 2003). Parenting strategies, such as communication and monitoring styles, along with sibling dynamics will be explored to help improve family relationships and reduce alcohol and drug use and related problems associated with substance use. Follow up interviews are conducted 3, 6, and 12 months after their baseline meeting.
